The first thing I checked was whether the app setup was easy. That part was fine. I also noticed that the fan is quiet on low. For daily use, that mattered more to me than a flawless outer shell. Setup was easy enough without watching a video. I did have to deal with one tradeoff: the app can be fussy. That was not a dealbreaker, but it is worth mentioning. Another small thing is that the remote is small. I cleaned it, updated it, and tested the main functions before deciding to keep it. After that, it felt much more like a good deal than a gamble.
