I got this for my parking lot to office and it has been really good so far. It was alot smaller than I pictured, which is a good thing. Mine had clean screen, but nothing that made me want to send it back. The solid speed for the price is probably my favorite part. Would recommend, especially if you are not expecting brand new perfect.

I picked up the GOTRAX G4 Electric Scooter for short trips where walking takes too long but driving feels ridiculous. My main use is getting from my apartment to the train station and around the neighborhood. The scooter arrived in decent packaging and I did not see any damage from shipping. Cosmetically it had visible wear but still rides well, so it looked used but not abused. The folding mechanism took me a couple tries to get comfortable with. Once I understood it, folding and unfolding became quick. The display is simple, which I actually like because I do not want to mess with a bunch of settings while riding. Acceleration is smooth enough for a beginner and not scary off the line. It is fast enough for my needs, but I would not expect motorcycle-level power from a scooter in this price range. On flat streets it feels confident and easy to control. On hills the speed drops, especially when the battery is not full. That is normal, but it is worth knowing before you buy one for a very hilly area. The ride is firm over cracks and rough sidewalks. I learned quickly to slow down and avoid bad pavement instead of pretending it is a full suspension scooter. The brake needed a small adjustment after the first few rides. After that it felt more predictable. The headlight is useful at dusk, though I still wear a reflective strap because cars do not always pay attention. Carrying it upstairs is possible, but not something I enjoy doing every day. The range is enough for my normal round trip, but I charge it more often than the ideal numbers would suggest. For the cheap price, that tradeoff is acceptable to me. I like that it is simple, practical, and easy to store near the door. It is not perfect, and rough roads expose its limits pretty quickly. Still, it has saved me a lot of time on small trips. I would recommend it to someone who wants a budget-friendly electric scooter and understands the limits.
