Bought this for my 12-year-old who loves drawing on her iPad. She uses it every single day. The setup was super easy — she just attached it to the iPad and it paired automatically. She says it feels just like a real pencil. I don't know much about the technical stuff but she's happy and that's what matters. Great product.

I've had my Apple Pencil Pro for about six months now and overall I'm really happy with it. The precision is amazing, the battery life is great, and I love how it feels in the hand. My only complaint is that the tip wore down faster than I expected. I use it pretty heavily for digital art (probably 4-5 hours a day) and I had to replace the tip after about 4 months. Replacement tips aren't too expensive but it's something to factor in if you're a heavy user. Other than that, no complaints. It's a solid product.

I was skeptical about the squeeze gesture when I first heard about it because I thought it would be one of those features you try once and forget about. But honestly, it's become essential to my workflow. I'm a graphic designer and I use it to quickly switch between brush sizes and colors without having to tap the screen. It saves so much time when you're in the middle of a project. The haptic feedback when you squeeze is also really satisfying — it gives a little buzz that confirms the action. I also love that you can customize what the squeeze does in different apps. In Procreate I have it set to undo/redo and in Notes I have it set to switch pen styles. The double-tap from the previous model was fine but this is way more versatile. If you're on the fence about upgrading, I'd say go for it if you use your pencil for work. For casual users, the Pencil 2 is probably still fine.

I purchased the Apple Pencil Pro primarily for annotating medical journals and patient diagrams, and I have to say the hover feature has been unexpectedly useful. I upgraded from the Apple Pencil 2nd generation and honestly I'm a little disappointed. The new squeeze feature is fine but I don't find myself using it that much. The hover feature is cool when it works but it feels gimmicky after the first few days. For the price, I expected more of a jump. If you already have a Pencil 2, I'd say skip this one unless you have money to burn. It's not a bad product by any means, it just doesn't feel like a necessary upgrade.

I'll keep this short. It works great. But it costs way too much for what it is. A stylus should not cost over $100 in 2026. Apple has a monopoly on iPad accessories and they know it. If you need it for work or school, get it. But if you're just doodling, save your money.

As a digital illustrator, this pencil is a dream. The latency is basically nonexistent and the tilt recognition is super accurate. I use it with Procreate and it feels just like drawing with a real pencil. The texture on the screen with a paper-like protector is chefs kiss. Highly recommend for artists.

The pencil itself works great, no complaints about performance. But mine arrived with a small scratch near the tip, which was a bit annoying for something this expensive. It's purely cosmetic and doesn't affect how it works, but still, for the price you'd expect flawless condition out of the box. The packaging was fine, no damage to the box, so it must have been a manufacturing thing. I thought about returning it but honestly I needed it for a project and didn't want to wait. Just something to be aware of — maybe inspect yours carefully when it arrives.

Look, it's a nice pencil. It writes well on the iPad. The pressure sensitivity is good. But it's $129 for a stylus. That's crazy. There are cheaper options that do 90% of what this does. I get that Apple's ecosystem is nice and it pairs seamlessly, but I don't think the premium is justified. I've been using mine for a few months and while I don't hate it, I don't love it either. It's fine. If you have the money and want the best, get it. If you're budget conscious, look elsewhere.
