I'm a freelance writer and I do a lot of my work from coffee shops and co-working spaces. The Magic Keyboard has been fantastic for this. I can throw my iPad Pro in my bag with the keyboard attached and I'm ready to work anywhere. The battery life is great since it's powered by the iPad's Smart Connector — no charging needed. The keyboard is comfortable enough for writing 2000+ word articles. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the price. It's just too expensive. But if you can afford it, it's a great tool for getting work done on an iPad.

I bought this for my nursing program and it's been a game changer for taking notes and writing papers on my iPad. The keyboard is comfortable to type on for hours. The passthrough charging is nice since it frees up the iPad's USB-C port. My only issue is that it's pretty heavy — carrying this around campus all day plus my other books gets tiring. Also wish it came in more colors. But overall it does exactly what it's supposed to do and does it well.

Picked this up refurbished for $220 and at that price it's excellent value. The one I received was in almost new condition — a couple tiny scuffs on the corners but the screen was clean and the keys looked barely used. Typing feel is great, backlighting is even, and the trackpad makes iPadOS feel like a real laptop. Would I pay full price? Probably not. But if you can find one on sale or refurbished, it's absolutely worth it. The pass-through charging is convenient and the build quality is typical Apple — solid and premium.
